I have been making art (mostly fiber art) and working with textiles for the past 20 years and have a vast experience with all types of surface design. I am especially interested in natural dyes, hand screen printed fabric and low impact digitally printed textiles.
In my studio, I create original textile designs from artwork that is drawn, painted, printed or collaged by hand. If the pattern is going to be printed digitally they head to a small fabric print shop in Greensboro, NC. Hand screen printed textiles are printed by me in Durham. If you have a specific project in mind or would like to dream one up let’s collaborate - I can create custom colors and designs for your individual project.
